I have been writing the (Not a) newsletter to a few friends to share productivity hacks and tips. I wrote to them every Monday for 18 weeks, and I asked them how they felt about (Not a) Newsletter.

“At first, I was reading and replying as a chore. Then came episode 6 (The Nova Effect; which I'll be sharing with a friend). I read that mail and I burst into tears. I'm getting teary just by thinking about how I felt then. I was in such a bad place, but that email deeply resonated with me. And that was when I knew, you were onto something with this project. And I started looking forward to Mondays. I literally wake up every Monday, and the first thing I do is check my mail. (Do you remember that episode you overslept, I was surprised I didn't meet a mail at the usual 6:00 am -ish time). I could go on and on about how good each episode made me feel, but the most important thing is that, by some weird stroke of fate or cosmic event or whatever, you sent in a mail with a principle that ‘coincidentally coincided’ with just what I needed to hear to push me back from the edge I was tethering on…  I have learnt so much since we started this journey, and I get excited when I apply those principles to real-life activities or when I'm able to identify some of those principles/characteristics in my surrounding environment.” -- Adeyemi Kawthar.
